Butter. Salt. Smoke. Spice. Time. Passion. These ingredients are what our menu is built on. I founded what is now Blues St BBQ in 2015 under the name Pig City BBQ. With a love of good food, and a strong Midwest/Memphis background, I placed a strong emphasis on Pork and its impact on my new and forming BBQ business. After over a year of operating, I realized that my love of music was as strong as my love of great food. And since Memphis is the birthplace of Blues, the homage to all things southern, rock, jazz, blues, and Jesus Prasin, I changed the name and direction of the business to Blues St BBQ.
Live music in the style of Blues, Jazz or Acoustic is the lifeblood of this restaurant, accompanied by long smoked Black Canyon Prime Reserve Brisket, dry-rubbed and lightly sauced Ribs, and classic Pulled Pork.
My background in food wont allow me to stop there though. From traditional training in classrooms and restaurants, to a private catering company that I developed at a young age, I have had the pleasure and good fortune of an incredible food education. From New York to San Francisco, New Orleans, Memphis, Dallas, the Carolinas, and Minnesota, I have collected the best that food cultures in these cities and brought them here to Utah. The classics have been perfected, and now I thrive on discovering new and diverse food. Smoking is our method, our technique if you will. This has led to many menu items that are special and unique like Smoked Shrimp Cocktail, Herb Crusted Prime Rib, thinly sliced Brisket, Tri-Colored BBQ Nachos, Oyster Po Boys, Smoked Fresh Atlantic Salmon and BBQ Tacos. You’ll want to save room for our greatest invention, Deep Fried Pecan Pie. I know without a doubt that you will love the true southern hospitality served up alongside Fried Okra, Pimento Cheese, Peach Cobbler and Sweet Ice Tea.
I’ve been joined in this fantastic journey by many staff members from our local community. Long time Manger, Stephanie Taylor of American Fork is a special one to thank for her dedication and commitment. She supports the team here in constant growth and improvement. We believe each staff
member brings something to our dinner table. I thank those who have loved this business with the same passion I have.
Visit us on weekends for live music, specials like All You Can Eat BBQ and Prime Rib. If you can’t catch us here in house, we offer full service catering, lunch drop off, and as of late summer 2017, we are featuring our amazing NEW Food Truck! We will bring the sweet sounds of the Blues and our home made freshly smoked BBQ right to you!

Our love for food and music is as vibrant as our love for the greatest American made machine – the Harley. All motorcycles, regardless of make, are a thing of beauty. Live to Ride is our personal motto, and we’ve made room for riding between the many hours of smoking, serving, and creating beautiful food. My sister Emily and I both ride a Harley Davidson Iron 883. We advocate and support local groups such as ABATE, and feel strongly about motorcycle safety and education.
2 times a month during the summer and as long as weather permits, we host a group ride for all lovers of the road and lovers of BBQ. Join us after the rides for dinner and drinks while being serenaded by live music of local talent. Not only do we ride, but we host a Classic Car Show with free entry.
